Thrifty Barn was founded in 2011 by Mr. Jordan with the vision to bring designer merchandise at an affordable price to those individuals who desired quality in his local community. Passion doesn't even come close to describing Mr. Jordan's love for quality clothing and accessories, sports apparel, discovering new designer labels and educating customers about brands and designers. Mr. Jordan was a former professional athlete and was exposed to entrepreneurship at an early age in life through family members that owned and operated successful businesses throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This inspired him to open an upscale resale store.

Thrifty Barn specializes in Designer Clothing, Shoes, Handbags, and Designer Fragrances. At the end of 2011, a Sports Apparel line and Sports Memorabilia was added to the store. After the first year of building a solid reputation in the business and becoming established as one of the first upscale resale stores in Ennis, Texas, Mr. Jordan decided to launch "The Online Designer Closet" in 2012. The goal of the online store is to deliver designer quality merchandise to the local surrounding areas and worldwide.
